Isaac’s alter ego, Og the Giant, has brought delight to children across Liverpool and beyond. Og is a storyteller, who is particularly skilled in encouraging silliness. Through the work of Og, Isaac has been able to introduce children in schools, youth groups, The Reader and beyond, to all manner of stories.
Directing
Isaac graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2018, after winning the Yasmin Jones Award for Creativity.
He is a working class, queer creative and has a drive to search for stories that reflect this.
After being deaf as a child, he is interested in creating work that explores physical communication, combining text with movement. This led him to work with disabled artists in RAWD (Random Acts of Wildness Disability) Theatre Company (2020) in creating shows reflecting their communities like ‘Phone Home’ and ‘The Little Mersey Mermaid’.
He furthered his training in the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Director course (2022), where he directed Shook by Samuel Bailey. A play which dissects a system that cares more for punishment than rehabilitation.
Isaac works with Artistic Director Soulla Tantouri Eriksen, as a director and assistant producer for Finger Food theatre (2023). He directed monologues in the Playhouse theatre, showcasing the amazing creative work in Liverpool.
He furthered on his passion to explore Liverpool’s great new works by directing Everyman & Playhouse Writers New Works Showcase 2023 Scratch Night. He assistant directed Turning Worm’s ‘Potato Milk’ in the Playhouse Theatre Studio (2024).

Og the Giant
Og the Giant travels far and wide in his big dungarees to share stories with mini giants, sing songs of joy and get mucky with craft. His booming voice has been heard across Merseyside and beyond.
Og has shared stories for The Reader Organisation, the Liverpool Bluecoat Gallery, RAWD (Random Acts of Wildness Disability) and the Everyman & Playhouse theatres.

Og’s 3 Main Objectives are:
Diversity: Delivering published literature from diverse writers and illustrators, who create stories that young people can relate to. Stories that represent the global majority, LGBTQIA+ and disabled communities.
Wellbeing: Delivering stories, games and meditational exercises that help younger people to understand their own emotional wellbeing and empathise with others.
Creativity: Encouraging younger people to tap into their creativity through Og’s Imagination Station: a practice in which children create and share their own stories.
Isaac has been a Creative Facilitator for nearly 10 years. Having worked within schools, youth groups and artistic organisations, Isaac is able to facilitate for people of all ages - from infants up until age 25.
